Born Warrington, enlisted Crewe. Son of John Fleetwood and Sarah Jane Parker of 23, Ruskin Road, Crewe. Former pupil of Bedford Street School. Before enlisting on September 6, 1914, was employed in the Crewe Carriage Works as a brake van cleaner. Went to France (Boulogne) on September 28, 1915. He was shot in the spine on April 28 and died a fortnight later in a base hospital.
